The fact that I WAS going faster than the speed limit really wasn't the point though. The point was that I think it's [censored] that a cop can accuse me of going whatever speed he decides I was going and there's very little I can do about it.

wtf is it with thanksgiving and cops, i think they're just pissed they have to work imo.
thanksgiving of 06' i got 2 tickets, 1 in morning and 1 at night, thank god i didnt get any this year.

I mean, sure there is a law that allows this, but most cops will just say "oh wait, no i mean i was pacing you". I've actually had that happen to me twice, explained what happened in the courtroom twice and of course the judge threw out the case both times. However, I dont get why I pretty much proved that the officer was guilty of prejury and no one cared at all. my problem is far far more with the cops. I think most judges i have seen generally act reasonably fairly.

When I got my ticket a couple months back I was travelling opposite way of cop. He pulls through median to pull me over, I had heard that you could ask to see the radar and I asked. He point blank told me no. This was FL Highway Patrol fwiw.
