I dunno what to put him on because it is such a weird line, but whenever I call here they have the nuts. I guess 88 more or less equals QQ, but I am a lot more inclined to call with QQ for no real reason. Also with QQ I would bet the turn for sure.

Isnt this push or fold preflop? and getting this flop a mandatory flop bet? and getting to the river a check, with no hand calling that you beat?

The passive play in this hand leaves you on a total guess. i pretty much hate every street.

not to be rude, but stick to the politics forum, pretty much all of this is wrong.

think this has to be a fold g-p, it would take quite a sick mind that would be ballsy enough to practically minraise bluff the river for half their stack and a very good read on you. given the chances of this are like .00001%, u gotta fold.

I don't think it's push or fold preflop. It's around 10% of stack to see flop. I think that's fine.

I'm not sure why you bet river here. I know u played the hand passively and villain knows that but is he really going to call u here w/ an ace? As played, I see ur dilemma. What hand warrants PF raise and check,check flop and turn? Still, it's a hard call. He's going to turn over something u don't like a majority of the time(QQ-AA).
