I had the Ghostbusters game on my Commodore 64. It was pretty sweet.

All the previous ghostbusters games have been TERRIBLE, not sure why you're excited about this one.

because the three people that made Ghostbusters a classic are deeply involved with the game. It could suck, but it's more hopeful than a standard movie game.

Past performance in this case has absolutely no predictive value on the quality of the game at hand considering the fact that I doubt even a single person involved in the past ones will be involved in this one - plus gameplay has changed dramatically in the 2+ decades since the main Ghostbusters game was released.

The presence of the original screenwriters and especially Bill Murray bodes well. Even if the gameplay itself is subpar, you're essentially seeing Ghostbusters 3. The Godfather game has just "decent" gameplay from what I've heard, but it's probably worth playing because of the presentation and that it has actors reprising their roles from a 30 year old classic movie.

Ghostbusters is second on my list of no-brainer licenses that should be made into games GTA-style (after Back to the Future). The possibility for greatness is certainly there.

How good woulf back to the future be!

I can see this having a pretty self writing script and can already visualise it GTA style in NY.

I would buy this.

More details:

http://www.protoncharging.com/gb/

Apparently Annie Potts (Janine) and good ole' William Atherton (evil EPA guy) are reprising their roles, which is [censored] amazing.

Two different games, one simpler and more family oriented for Wii, DS, PS2, and one the "real deal" for next-gen.

Be real please:
