yeah ansky didn't say if his 3 barrels have been shoves with these sort of stack sizes on the river so its hard to say whether to bet or shove, but do one.

[/ QUOTE ]

I have made 0 overbets thus far in the match iirc.

id think for 20 seconds and bet 4950 but i dont really do the overbet shove things.

Isn't it better to be something slightly less than half of our remaining stack here on the far off chance that he decides that he can still shove with some FE or something? I mean, 5k isn't much different than 4k, except at 4k he might still think he can move you off the the hand for some unknown reason.

[/ QUOTE ]

4k looks more value betty. also im willing to make a large bet that if he decided to bluff shove hed be much more likely to do it over a larger bet, 5-6k, than something like 4k. i know i would.

Those are good points. I guess a lot of it depends on what he feels we'd be value betting here and how tightly we'd hold onto it if he shoved. I mean, if he thinks we're making a thinnish value bet here with KJ or something, then shoving looks like a much better option for him. I see your point though about bluff shoving in a situation where the raise is so small that it's unlikely to be a bluff.

European never fold so just bet 4K for value.

On a more important note: Terken where did you get that awesome white watch covered with diamonds? I'm not a big Rolex or Breitling fan and looking for something different.

Probably not affordably for your average 5/10NL grinder but what's the manufacturer?

I can't imagine one of the 3 options is folding, so I ;m going with vbet, shove, and c/c, maybe even CRAI.

Either way, I'm betting ~4500, and puke-calling if he raises.

Push, I doubt he's folding a jack here. His all-in calling range is going to be slightly wider with a missed draw out there.

I don't really see too much difference in him calling a 5k bet and him calling a 9k overbet shove, besides the value you're giving up with the former.
