Great stuff listening. Your post captures the spirit of being a micro player beautifully. All those endless internal choices between playing for 'experience' and 'good bankroll management'. It makes me happy to see that you were able to combine both. Good luck in the future.

The article was one of the most readable offerings in the magazine in quite some time. You really humanized the degree to which many players have a real attachment to money and illustrated that many people who approach this as a hobby are actually quite risk averse.

You also highlighted the degree to which the talent gap is actually quite narrow between top players and those who play the game solely as a sideline but who strive to play correctly.

Yours was a wonderful portrait of poker and poker players. The narrative on the hands was very well done. The article was an outstanding addition to the body of non-strategy oriented poker literature.

I loved the article, it may be worth trimming it down, taking out a bit of the hand stuff and get it published in a mainstream mag/paper.
