Default Quck question on Stud software

I've played a fair amount of Stud, Stud Hi and Razz, but I've never gotten into it online online. I picked up the Stud version of pokertracker and am more of less ready to go.

Could someone tell me what software a typical online stud player is running besides PT? I'm not talking about the programs that memorize hold cards (and I did read the FAQ). Is there a commonly used HUD similar to the ones common in the other games?

No huds. Use Gametime window built-in Pokertracker, and that's pretty much it.

I wrote a HUD. It's still kind of in the beta-testing phase. If you'd like to try it out, look here:
http://www.rustybrooks.com/Program/projects/poker/docs

It requires that you use postgres with pokertracker and it lacks configurability at the moment.

There's a simulator in it but ignore that for now it's probably broken the moment

Thanks Rusty.

My PC is kind of in beta phase right now too (I have Vista64 + the 680i chipset, and a lot of headaches). I'll definitely bookmark that and follow along, I need to time to get my feet wet with playing stud online for a little anyway.

A Stud HUD is pretty big news. Anybody downloaded this yet?

I'd love for someone to try it. To my knowledge no one has. I would be more than willing to work with someone to make it what they want, if they can help me figure out what that is.

How's it working for you at this point? I'd love to try it but I'm really terrible with computers and software etc. I'd make a crappy beta tester. I'm really suprised that this thread hasn't caught the attention of guys in here like Andy B. ,Poor Lawyer etc. Shocked actually. I just came in here today for the first time in weeks and this jumped out at me.

Ruining your thread by adding that I think this type of software should be considered cheating

At this point, that's like saying the forward pass is like cheating.

You think a HUD is cheating? Wow. It's not like keeping track of up cards or something if that's what you're thinking.

I'm beyond begging people to try it out. If anyone feels up to it, let me know. I'm happy with giving it away so you'd probably be doing the 2+2 community a service if you helped make this into something useful.

I've been using it for years, but only for stud for the last few months, because I only played flop games (holdem, omaha variants) up until a few months ago.
