[/ QUOTE ] funny you ask me (an unknown) instead of ignoring me and asking a regular. But yes, If you raise the flop I think you have to call a shove because you have put a decent amount in the pot already and you are likely playing against a draw that knows you are decent/2p2 and will respect his play a lot. A 4 is not a big part of his range and 33 is possible, but he has it not often enough to fold (I did not mention it, but there are some overpairs in his range as well that you cruh). |

Re: I don\'t like my kings so much
He could be playing 99 that way bc of your call. He may be reading you for AK/AQ, which is a logical place to put you after you didn't raise him on the flop. Lots of players who are optimistic in decent pots like to go to town like this to prevent AK/AQ from drawing cheap, especially when the board is suited. I always do this to LAGS that I see playing AJ and even A/10 like its the nuts. If its really 33, I would think he would have checked to give someone the chance (you) to continuation bet and possibly hita frush so you might be able to get stacked. Sooooo, with that in mind I raise the turn big. 33 is only one hand, anyways.

Re: I don\'t like my kings so much
I agree with Noah. It is so much better to raise this flop, even if its slightly less EV short term. Now I would keep calling. Your hand is pretty under-repped and I find even tight players make strange bluffs or overplay their mid pairs when an aggressive player like myself takes this type of line.

[ QUOTE ] u cant fold here for game theory reasons [/ QUOTE ] ??? [/ QUOTE ] Well KK is at the top of our range in this spot... And most people will think a made hand less than KK is still best on the turn (obv that isn't a game theory consideration, but an important one) |
