Default Do you guys actually train your pilots?

Must be half of British war casualties in the last 15 years are from US pilots.

War is dangerous and bad things happen to people. Sometimes bombs don't fall where they are supposed to, close air support is very dangerous because it is close. It's unfortunate that these kinds of tradegies happen but there is no way to prevent them and still do what these guys have to do.

Yes, we train our pilots. How else would we hit you folks. Anyway, after a few hundred years we still don't like the British.

My sister's BF is one of the guys who does the training.
He takes it pretty damn seriously from what I understand although he doesn't tell me much about it. He prefers to drill me with Q's about poker.

There was an old saying from world war II, "When the British flew over head the Germans ducked. When the Germans flew over head the British ducked. When the Americans flew over head everyone ducked."

I don't think much has changed in the last 60 years. It seems that whenever there is a friendly fire incident it involves American aircraft.

That couldn't have anything to do with the fact that America flies the most combat missions, right? While there will obviously be an investigation it seems that the British military is not as upset as you guys.
