1k NL river bluff raise

He was playing 29/13/4 over 90 hands. I raised so small preflop because of the short stack in the big blind. I definitely wouldn't always bet here on the flop, but this time I did- just varying my play with this preflop and flop line. I decided not to 2-barrel the turn, but the river seemed like a good opportunity to bluff-raise because I believed villain would bet any 9 or better. The backdoor flush draw hitting also greatly improves the credibility of my play. I can see villain having J10s in his range but not J10o. Accounting for the offsuit combinations being removed, and the chance that villain would lead or raise flop with J10s, I think this decreases the probability of him having a straight here by a little bit. spew or no? And is my raise fine, or do I want to raise larger? How much would this situation change if the river 8 wasn't a heart? thanks. -Jeff |
