Been Takes the Lead
In a limped pot with a flop of Q94 on the board, Aaron Been checks. Steve Sung bets $700 and Been calls. Both players check the 10 on the turn and the river card is the J. Been fires out $1,600 and Sung raises to $4,000 total. Been reraises all in and Sung folds. Been now holds the upper hand in the second game of their match.

YEAH. Teach those Asian LAGtards a lesson!

Game of Chicken
With the blinds $300-$600 Aaron Been raises raises to $900 and Steve Sung goes into the tank. After about a minute Sung reraises to $3,000. Been then goes into deep thought and pushes all in. Sung returns to the tank for almost a full three mintues. He finally mucks his hand giving Been a $32,000 to $8,000 chip lead.

how many enntered? wtf tournament is this?

[/ QUOTE ]

85 entered

they played some qualifying matches to get to 64 players, if you lost the qualifying match u got $2.5k back.

Aaron didn't play a qualifying match, because he's a superstar obv.

This is the last tourney before the Mirage Poker Showdown WPT 10k, which starts on Saturday.

[/ QUOTE ]

wait, so some people paid 5k, got 2500 back, and still didn't get to play? I'm confused.

Everyone paid 5k. Since it was an odd number of entrants (85) they ran some "qualifier matches"

If you lost, you got half your money back.
