ah, my bad, forgot it was only based on their record against each other if they're both in position to make the playoffs anyway

the tigers are killing me. what a debacle tonight. [/ QUOTE ] Me too. This is torture. They are so brutal. The only saving grace is that I am a Yankee fan. At least the Yankees will be assured of a virtual first round bye if the Tigers take the wild card. Usually I am in the "in baseball, anything can happen in a five game series" camp, but this team is gonna get broomed out of the playoffs. They are a joke. Technically, we are still looking good though! Tomorrow, KC is starting a reliever. Detroit should be able to get into the bullpen, and KC's bullpen is simply horrendous. Who am I kidding? GO WHITE SOX! |

tigers to win the central $1000 at 30-1 (what a nightmare this last month has been). ryan howard to win the hr title $250 at 40-1 (looks wrapped up with batting avg as the tie breaker). [/ QUOTE ] stud |

ryan howard to win the hr title $250 at 40-1 (looks wrapped up with batting avg as the tie breaker). [/ QUOTE ] Did you bet that on Pinnacle or did some other book clone Pinny's line? The only "player to win" future I took was actually Howard to lead MLB in homers at 40/1, but I bet it at something like 0.05u to win 2u. Despite finding some gems like Mulder under 15.5 wins and Pujols over 40.5 homers, my playoff matchup futures didn't do that well on the whole because I had so many matchups fading Giambi. |
