QQ Against a Short Stack
I'm curious as to what all of you think about this hand. I was still pretty new to the table so unfortunately no reads.
Full Tilt Poker No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.25/$0.50 6 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $29.35 UTG+1: $58.30 CO: $140.30 Hero: $63.90 SB: $16.75 BB: $50.05 Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is Button with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] UTG raises to $1.75, 2 folds, Hero raises to $5.5, 2 folds, UTG calls. Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($11.75, 2 players) UTG bets $5, Hero...? Normally I like to put in a good raise here to put pressure on the other guy, but if I do that here he'll be in the push or muck mode. If he pushes then I find myself seeminly pot-committed while drawing to two outs. Calling seems weak and folding to that drastic underbet seems wrong as well. |

Re: QQ Against a Short Stack
This is an instafold, I'm not scared of the FD, it's the tiny raise. Tiny raises at this level are just sucker bets, you're the sucker if you call.
