I do like this line too. It is for the most part all of the pleasure and none of the pain except I cry a little inside when he checks behind some hand like QhQx although that is pretty rare.

3-bet/call down (given no river K or T).

I think a more interesting question is your plan if the turn blanks.

the guy doesnt have QQ. no one is checking QQ on a KKT flop in a bb steal scenario. ever.

I know. That is why I used the term "rare"

I thought about your line for a bit and now I actually don't like it as much due to the presence of the flush draw on board. If the river puts out the 4th heart he may check it behind or we may decide to bet it to prevent a check behind. We lose value and cry.

Instantly 3-bet.

I'm not afraid of monsters under the bed or KT, KK, or TT right now. If he 4-bets, calling down seems right, although I really like your hand here.

river heart kills your action if he doesn't have one.

By the way, what exactly *can* he have? No idea bout this guy but a mediocre online player might show up with a small pair, AQ, or KK.

Oh, and 3-bet pf.

eh I do sometimes when villain defends with a wide range preflop and likes to lead turns and rivers with air, but won't call me on the flop with A7. He also needs to be unaware so I don't have to protect my flop cbets with loads and loads of value

Otherwise it's pretty bad

3 betting PF with 55 shouldn't be standard.
