i hate folding mid PP's

SB: $202.6, tight 15/7/2, seems fairly solid.
BB: $38.
UTG: $143.
Muppet/UTG+1 $197.
CO: $55, loose, passive.
Btn: $241.50 is a LAG, playing around 70/30/2.3, cold calls almost anything.

Muppet is dealt: 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

UTG folds, Muppet raises to $6, CO calls, Btn calls, SB raises to $31, BB folds, Muppet gets confused and calls, fold, fold.

Flop: 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

SB bet $55.00, Muppet calls $55.00

Turn: K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

SB bets $115.60, Muppet calls it a day and folds.

Any reasoning behind the 6x bb raise? I assume it was because some players were deep?

dont call PF.. you dont have odds to call... and he is solid tight player... if you did call, your doing it for set value... so fold flop...

Fold Preflop, Fold Flop.
Reraises from 7% raisers are never squeezes. He has a high PP or AK. The flop is relatively nice for you but I think you are way behind his range here. I have to know that he will c-bet an AK in a 3-Bet pot to call this flop and that he likes to check his AA and KK, assuming I accidentally clicked call preflop.
Turn is an instafold.
