i believe that in this situation, top pair or better will call a bet, and that no one is likely to bluff raise a bet here. i dont think more hands bet that call.

Roman is definitely capable here of bluff raising here. I wish OP would tell us if it's him already. This quote; however, "CO is arguably one of the best fullring players in the world." implies that he is definitely capable of bluff raising.

For all the railbirds its BoostedJ.

The reason I posted this is I am primarily a shorthanded specialist and don't play alot of fullring. Its one of the myriad of situations that one doesn't see playing shorthanded. My standard line in these situations is to raise preflop and put as much in as possible on the flop.

It doesn't include alot of high level thought. Boost likes to peel flops light and bets when he gets there, when he checked the turn through it was unlikely he had the flush, although he may have hit one of the straights. The BB checked twice unlikely he has a straight or flush probably top pair or weak overpair.

I bet the river 650 on the river thinking that boost would probably fold and the BB would call with top pair/two pair/overpair etc and planning on folding to a raise. Anything smaller I feel like has a good chance to get jacked up and put me in an ugly spot.

At the time I thought the bet might be too slim for a fullring game.
Thanks for the replies it was interesting to read the variety and logic of the discussion.
