2/4 can you fold AA here?
One of those annoying flop decisions, he screams strength but is it a fold?
Villain is probably the best player at the table though he plays a little tight at 16/13/1.6. I've not seen him out of line in ~ 120 hands. He usually bets the pot on most streets and hasn't shown down too many hands. I've been playing fairly tight. Stacks: SB ($395.20) BB ($521.70) Hero ($642.36) CO ($417.50) Btn ($435.50) Hero has A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Hero raises to $16, CO folds, Btn calls, SB folds, BB folds. Flop: 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Hero bets $24, Btn raises to $96, Hero raises to $194, Btn raises allin.... This screams set, but it could probably be something like A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] or even K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. I'm actually behind the KQ here. |

Obv call this push, but the 3bet is pretty bad in the first place.

[/ QUOTE ] Agreed with the 3 bet, this is a tough spot and ur obv behind, i fold here instead of call though he most likely doesnt have A K cc because he would have re raised pre. And he wouldnt go for stacks without a combo draw which is possible here but unlikely. I think your looking at 66 or 99 here most of the time especially if your read on the villian is correct. |

Re: 2/4 can you fold AA here?
because you foldout all the hands your beating and all the sets and 2 pair hands call unless ur image is ridiculously lag. This is a tought spot out of position i think your best line is to bet out and fold to a regular or someone uve labeled as tight, re raise for informaion isnt bad if the stacks are deeper.

Re: 2/4 can you fold AA here?
If you don't think he is going to push back a worse hand then why did you 3 bet the flop to begin with? As played ugh, you're probably committed but I don't see us being ahead here much.
I'd probably call the flop and re-evaluate turn. Folding the flop against this guy can't be too big of a mistake, either. |

Re: 2/4 can you fold AA here?
I don't like the flop 3-bet either, because we end up, like in this hand, getting commited when likely behind. Either that, or the nit just folds anything that we beat.
I would probably call flop raise (although folding may be good, especially with a read) and re-eval turn. If the turn is a club or he looks like he wants to play for stacks, I fold. |
