No not in the least bit. This board is so dry that I can't be drawing. I have to have a made hand. My equity is good so I'm not risking that much cash to take down a big pot. Imo he's more likely to make a tight fold after putting in 1/3 of his stack when he can't conveniently put me on a draw and call.

The assumption I made is that he knows his hand is flipped over.

I suppose this is a semi bluff? If villian folds most overpairs here I guess it is okay. Still don't really like it. To those who don't like it how should we play differently?

What about a c/c flop & c/r turn. That would definatley move an over pair. Your 3bet rearaise smells fishy. You'd better hit.
