Quick preflop checkup 50NL
.25/.50
9 handed, been playing semi aggressive, up a little bit. MP, 8d9d. I limp behind 2 or 3 others Button goes all in for $4, 2 other callers, so about $14 in the pot, $3.5 to me closing the action. Do I need to be calling or folding this? Would be acting last post flop fwiw. How about 4d5d on the button, one raise to $1.5? In the BB J10o for $1 more? |

Re: Quick preflop checkup 50NL
I fold the 9d8d, you have position but I just don't like it. You only have .50 invested, so you can get out cheap.
5d4d on the button, I usually call here and look to catch a flop or just outplay postflop, usually the blinds will come along with random trash because it's cheap. JTo in BB, I usually fold because you'll be OOP for the rest of the hand, and it's harder to play drawing hands OOP than in position (which is why I like calling the 5d4d hand) |

How big are your opponents' stacks? This is very important here.

Re: Quick preflop checkup 50NL
First you will want to post this in the FR Forum..See the sticky link at the top of the forum...
89s and the 45s hand you can call if you play well post flop.. TJo always fold in any position to a raise..You are dominated far to often and get stuck paying off..The times you make a straight will not overcome this weakness.. |
