The check-raise on river it gives villan a chance to make the correct play by laying down his 2 pr or straight.

I'd like a weak lead bet on the river that looks like a blocking bet (1/3 - 1/2 PSB). this gives the villan (who loves to raise) a chance to raise all in & feel in control of the hand.

You were planning to limp-reraise preflop, right?

I'd still raise pf. If you were in EP or even MP you could try this, but having him check his option is too big a risk.

As played I like your line.

LOL@BB's stats. I think I'd be more inclined to raise given these. When the PFR stat is that high, my experience has been that they see little distinction between raising limpers and 3betting someone. I like this line a lot as I think he's probably folding to earlier raises, but (obv) will keep betting at the pot to push you off.

Awesome, that's how you use a player's tendencies to get them committed and stack them. This isn't a great line in most situations, but with this read and a perfect board, it worked out great.

A 48/48 (not that I have much expereince with them LOL) probably has nothing on this flop after he checks, so I play the same postflop. But, as others have said, I think him being in the BB makes this a raise.
