Playing overcards on the flop

I'd peel this flop and fold the turn unimproved.

yeah, and you just got educated. i guarantee you will never raise the flop to "push out any flush draws" again.

i would have thought someone from Israel would have thicker skin anyway.

is having KQ on such a flop better than having AK?

many micro limit players call preflop with Ax, and here our ace outs may be doomed if one of the villians have A9 or A3. doesn't this make it easier to fold AK at the flop?

He probably has loose requirements and probably hit something on this flop and thinks you have nothing .. probably thought you were betting Overcards so bet into you.

If you raise to see later streets cheap I think you have to fold the river when you don't improve.

I probably would have just called and see if I could pull a strong draw.

On the flop I wouldn't be concerned about the flush draws too much.. because if they hit a weak flush draw you have a chance to draw to a better hand.

flop: no flush draw is folding to your flop raise.

turn: standard against a loose villian. however if your read on villian is tight then go ahead and bet the turn

This still isn't a place to bet. HU, maybe - but with two players, betting the turn is a loosing proposition.

I can't find a call here like ever- even if I knew the BB to be the loosest of players. I'd have to know he'd also bet right into two players, in a raised pot, with multiple streets of aggression.

I've read that. If you're playing the overcards as a very weak draw then hitting an Ace may be no help at all while a King may be a clean out (subject to the usual caveats about flush draws, etc.)

I just realized that part of my problem is that instead of treating overcards as very weak draws I'm treating them as semi-bluffs or even a weak made hand. Semi-bluffing at micro limits actually works sometimes (to my surprise) so I seem to be net plus acting this way...so far. I'm trying to cut back on this now. Maybe there's an overcard patch like a nicotine patch.
