Austin Carr is great. Just a happy, cool old guy.

1. KG is definitely as good as Duncan, he is absolutely unstoppable in the post, a great passer and a major defensive presence.

[/ QUOTE ]
i've thought this for years. if kg had been on the spurs they would have won just as many championships.

2. Nobody is better than Lebron James. He is the best player in the league and the MVP.

[/ QUOTE ]
i still think guys like kg, duncan and even kobe are better than him, at least as of right now. there is no finesse in his game. the teams that play great team defense completely own him because they shut down those lanes he creates to the basket, and he has a terrible shot. reference last years finals. if flip saunders knew how to coach they wouldn't have even made the finals.

he has a terrible shot

He's improved a ton in the offseason. Granted the season is young, but he's shooting a better % than your boi Kobe, and it can't just be chalked up to 3s (Kobe's only averaging one more 3PA per game and is shooting them 1% better). His only real hole is at the charity stripe. It'd be really scary if Lebron was dropping FTs at even just 80%.

this is true. so far kobe is shooting 48% for 2s and 35% for 3s. lebron is shooting 52% for 2s and 35% for 3s. lebron has also attempted like 60 more 2s (~20%) than kobe. but by my estimation cleveland has only played 2 really good defensive teams so far while the lakers have played 7.

Kobe is an assassin with the ball. I never get that feeling with Lebron, unless as you say he plays a team with poor team defense. Then he just plows through the lane with his massive frame.
