I think Jacksonville Jaguars might have to take Brady Quinn regardless of what they need if he's there.

[/ QUOTE ]

Gene Harris doesn't pick on need. He is strictly Best Available Player and has been forever.

they obviously wanted Ginn for whatever reason. they should have known he would have been available 5-10 picks later. in a 'perfect' market they would have been able to trade down and get their guy + an extra pick, but this year it's hard to do that.

[/ QUOTE ]

Oh, ok that makes perfect sense, thanks.

i have a hard time believing they couldn't drop from say 9 to 13/14 for a 4th rounder etc

I think Lindy may have slide under the table at some point to keep Quinn cheered up.

Photoshop Quinn w/a Snickers bar & "Not going anywhere for awhile?"

[/ QUOTE ]

I LOL'd at both.

Question: What happens if they don't get Trent Green AND Culpepper gets injured again? Do they just plan to start Dan Marino?

If Matt Millen ever wanted to redeem himself, he'd swing a trade to get Quinn somewhere in here. Right?

I said it before and I'll say it again. They can get a top flight QB next year's draft when they suck again this year. I seriously think that should just be their plan.

Spend the rest of their picks on OLine and Defense this year. Then draft a high end QB next year at the top, and do the same again the rest of the way.
