If I had $40M I would be more than content with that Lindy girl. I find her incredibly cute.

If Tampa takes Gaines Adams here and they don't work out a trade with Detroit I would say they got screwed. No way, IMO, Adams is worth that 4th pick. They should have gone another direction than Adams IF there's no trade to be made with the Lions.

She cute, but if you can get Filet Mignon and you got a New York strip. I think your going to get Filet Mignon.

Bleh. Any other pick meant CJ was a Lion for sure. There's still a chance they will trade him. Yuuuuuuck.

1. OAKLAND</font> - QB JaMarcus Russell, LSU - Grade: C
2. DETROIT</font> - WR Calvin Johnson, GT - Grade: A
3. CLEVELAND</font> - OT Joe Thomas, WIS - Grade: A
4. TAMPA BAY</font> - DE Gaines Adams, CLEM - Grade: B+

I don't like Russell.

I have no idea what AZ will do here. Surely, this has to be worst case scenario for them. I'm sure they're looking for a trade.

Otherwise, they prob take Amobi Okoye.

Cleveland needed a franchise quarterback and I thought Quinn would be an ideal pick. Thomas, however, is an excellent pick which along with Eric Steinbach (Pro Bowl alternate from Cincinatti) will help anchor a much improved offensive line.

[/ QUOTE ]

You can't draft a franchise QB without an O-line. Carr, Couch, Harrington- maybe these guys wouldn't have been great, but they never even stood a chance to compete.

[/ QUOTE ]

Thomas is absolutely the best pick for the Browns, going even further now you will know for sure if Frye is capable at the end of this year, no guessing, no cutting a guy who goes on to perform well for a team with a good o-line. Bad teams can't afford to let decent players go.

With the 7th pick in the 2007 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings select...Daniel Sepulveda, P, Baylor.
