I have a question ... I was looking at some maps, like this one:

if you look to the far right next to the save crystal, there's this shovel-like icon ... i don't have that icon on my map, so what the heck is it?

yeah those are pretty solid licenses.

so im having a ton of trouble now trying to kill the white mousse. my problem is there's always a water elemental in there that basically kicks my ass before i can even reach the mousse (i had like a 20 minute fight with the elemental and still didnt kill him because i spent all my time casting vox and cura). any advice? its possible im too low level, but i dont think so -- i have vaan at 34 and all my other characters at 27/28 (no, i never take vaan out [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img] )

you need stronger equipment ... your level suggests you arent too far in the game, so you may need to wait a bit to get some better equipment.

level 28 does seem a bit low to go after a rank iv hunt though ... my party is level 50, and im just getting to the rank iv hunts.

Shovel icon is when you get the airship. That is where it is anchored.

airship? i'm like 90% done with the main story line ... is this a side quest of some sort?

No, you don't get the airship until the second to last dungeon in the game.

does anyone else think that for the first 15 hours or so, the plot and characters develop just like star wars? you've got a rebel princess, a bad empire, pirates (except chewie is now a hot alien), an orphan who gets mixed up in all of it, weird family rivalries, CLOUD CITY AND A GUY JUST LIKE LANDO

I've never seen Star Wars but in one of the reviews I read for the game said the exact thing.

How long did it take everyone to fill up the license board? My guys are level 45 and getting there. I'm eager to switch out the 2x LP for the 2x XP bracers though. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

I just killed Tyrant pretty easily and am moving along. Still love the game.
