Re: bottom2, really tricky spot. party 2k6m.
its v close between raising to 700ish and calling a push, and calling the flop to "decide" on the turn (probably raise a blank). I dont think you can fold over a push if you raise as its just suchhhhhhhhh a draw heavy flop.

Re: bottom2, really tricky spot. party 2k6m.
play it the same as you would if you had aces. I prob just call and see what he does on the turn. If i get raised behind me i fold too.

This is not good advice as he will be pushing a draw here alot. Bad spot but raise and get it in. Sucks if he has KQ, but thats poker. Also preflop is not good. [/ QUOTE ] if preflop is a mistake it is very small, and the action people will give him later on makes up for it. I do stuff like this all the time, works well. |

Re: bottom2, really tricky spot. party 2k6m.
I really don't like calling this flop.
IMO you need to raise a substantial amount right now. I raise to $800 |

Re: bottom2, really tricky spot. party 2k6m.
I don't understand why nobody ever wants to see the turn on draw heavy baords with marginal (but likely best hands).
Yes the villian is likely drawing but we have position and he cant have that many draws. J-10, and diamonds only really and J-10o is pretty unlikely. Call and see what the turn is and what he does it won't be hard to figure out his hand from there and you've kept the pot small and kept the advantage of position. This play also has the advantage of the chance that the draw hits and it becomes obvious he wasn't drawing (i.e had us beat on the flop) and we can win the pot with a very high percentage bluff. EDIT: Why bother responding to hand with fold PF, do you really think he cares about comments of teh pf play, there are lots of reasons to play that hand in that way pf in certain times of certain games. |

Re: bottom2, really tricky spot. party 2k6m.
When people say "see what happens on the turn."
Ok, a 2o peels and bb checks/leads for 3/4. Your move. An ace, he checks/ he bets. Your move. An offsuit jack he checks/bets. etc. |
