I'd either call or reraise depending how I felt. If I felt this was the type of opponent who is relatively likely to make some kind of squeeze play than I'd definitely raise. Personally I have no idea who the guy is.

Probably I won't feel like that most of the time and will end up calling.

I just always shove this. Don't really like calling unless you're planning to [censored] around on non A/K-high flops.

Noah probably right, I take back my previous statement. Calling is for too large a % of effective stacks. If I knew the opponent was some giant uncreative nit I'd fold, but I'm rarely going to know that in some random MTT.

But yea I really don't like calling, I was hypnotized by previous poster.


I think it's unlikely the villain is on some stone cold bluff squeeze play, but I think it's definitely possible they fold JJ here.

also, just a little sidenote. A lot of players when they get below starting stack early, will start making moves with small blinds to try to get back up to the starting stack, which is why this is an instashove.
