Can\'t access HTTP in web browser
I can't access any http sites. After about 30 seconds of trying to connect the connection times out. I can access https though. I have XP on my computer and use firefox almost exclusively (same problem in IE tho). I've tried resetting the modem and rebooting but it hasn't worked. I tried releasing and renewing the IP address and this also didn't work.
I haven't changed anything since it worked last night. My computer goes into hibernate after about 30 minutes of inactivity and this morning when I woke up I couldn't access any http sites. AIM works fine, so does chatzilla, and poker sites. I remember this happening once before but I don't remember what I did to fix it. I think I just rebooted but I'm not sure. Any help appreciated thanks. |

Re: Can\'t access HTTP in web browser
Do you use peerguardian? It sounds like port 80 got blocked somehow. Check your firewall.
