Default Want to start pool for next year WSOP (very long, need opinions)

Have a regualar home game, want to start pool for next years WSOP, this is what i came up with so far, need some feedback thanks..........

WSOP 2008 Poker League
This will be a league played thru out the next year, where points will be tabulated to earn seat(s) into World Series of Poker events next June/July.

Rules

• Points can be earned in Tuesday night tournaments or other Qualified poker nights where at least 4 Roster members are in attendance and all members have been invited. Points will be earned on a payout basis. Any tournament entered (with at least 4 members on The Roster participating, and 1 Roster member cashing is a Qualified event.
• A $20 fee to be added to The Roster and join the League.
• A 10% collection will be paid by each cashing member. Each member participating receives 1 point and then ea cashing member gets 1 point for each $10 contributed to the POOL. For example if a member gets 3rd in a tourney and wins $250 that member will pay the POOL $25 qualifying the event and will receive 2.5+1= 3.5 points. And ea member participating will receive 1 point. If no member cashes the event does not qualify.
• Since it is hard to make every week the top 25 finishes will count towards ea players running average that will count towards the final 11 player tournament next May.
• Each player in attendance has an option of paying $20 to buy 2 points ea Qualified poker night. The option is open until the end of the Qualified poker evening.
• An option to purchase a 5 point week to improve a weekly average score will be available in May for $100 ea.
• The total number of points available on any given night is equal to 5 points x # of Roster players. For example if there are 4 Roster players are playing only 20 Tournament points can be awarded towards the player pools. This does not include the $20 option to buy 2 points which may be added onto ea players point total/ if this option is forfeited by a player the points are dead and unavailable thru Tourney play. This prevents 4 guys getting together and racking up insane amounts of points on any given night.

The May Tournament:

• 11 members from the Roster will be eligible for the final tournament. The organizer is guaranteed the 11th spot and if he/ they finish in the top 10 eliminates 1 seat and makes the final tournament 10 people. There will be an entry of $50-$100 that will go directly towards the Pool total.
• Ea player will get 1000 chips x average point total for the 25 weeks.
• A player has the option of having another person play for him, or to not play the tourney at all without effecting their payout equity.
• A minimum average of 3 points/week is needed to qualify for the tourney, or payout percentage..

Payouts
• >$1000: money is paid out based on rankings thus far (top 10), no tourney
• <$1000 Tournament.
o The winner will receive the lump sum to play in the (1) event of his choice. The remaining funds go towards other finishers (based on tourney finish). 1st place winner shall receive 50% of all winnings with 5% going to 1st thru 11th place (If the Organized finishes in the top 10, they will receive 10%, if they finish 1st they will receive 55%) Any funds remaining will be used for $1000 events for the remaining participants. Any person qualifying for another event will receive 30% of winnings, the 1st place finisher will receive 15%, and the remaining tourney participants will get 5% )
o Qualifying members may not use sub outside of top 11 finishers if unable to attend WSOP June/July event. Seat must be offered to all other finishers prior to allowing someone who already won a seat an opportunity to play a second tourney.
o Money is for tourney entry only expenses to be paid by players. Round-off goes to top tourney finisher for expenses (<$500)
• <$3000 Tourney, + Guaranteed seat
o Top reg season finisher is Guaranteed (1) entry into $1000 event from pool money. If reg season winner wins tourney, at least 1 other ($1000) tourney must be given to 2nd place finisher.
o See above for tourney payouts

My group did something similar that can be applied for what you're looking for. To properly adapt it, I'd need some information.

1. How many guys play in your Tuesday tournaments?
2. How many weeks do you want to use to qualify (20, 30, 40)?
3. What kind of buy-ins do you play ($20, $50, $100)?
4. Do you play deep stack tourneys (100BB+) with a slowly increasing blind schedule?
5. Do you play short stack tourneys (<100BB) with big/quick blind increases?

1. 10-12 during the summer, but starting in the fall the average is closer to 20
2. I had 25 in the write-up but im thinking of dropping that to 15, to allow more people an opportunity
3. Buy in is $50-$100
4. Deeper stack tourney usually about 90BB, 20 min levels, the main tourney we be structured similar to wsop event

15 Consecutive Weeks (or 25, whichever you prefer)
$50 + $25 extra per tournament to Earn Points (Qualify)

Qualifying
1. Players must announce at beginning of tournament their intention to qualify.
2. Players may opt not to qualify for a tournament – they will earn 0 points.
3. Players, who announce nothing, will be excluded from qualifying.
4. A player may opt not to attend a night – they will earn 0 points.

Earning Points
1. Points are earned only if you’ve paid the $25 qualifier fee.
2. Points will be earned for finishing positions.
3. If there are 16 players in a tournament, 1st place earns 16 points, 2nd place earns 15 points … last place earns 1 pt.

REGULAR SEASON CHAMP = $1000

Point Values
1. All players who earn points make the final tournament.
2. At the end of 15 weeks, each point earned will translate into $100 in chips (for example 34 points = $3400 in chips, 80 points = $8000 in chips). If you start out at 25-50, nobody is short-stacked.

End of Season Tournament
1. Seats and Button will be drawn at Random (by drawing cards).
2. Tournament purse will consist of remaining qualifying money.
3. Final payout: (15 Weeks x 15 players x $25 = $5625 - $1000 = $4625).
1st = $2300 Tourney Package (~50%)
2nd = $1400 Tourney Package (~30%)
3rd = $925 Tourney Package (~20%)
