I meant as villain. I'm suggesting that CRAI for Hero is the best counter to my own strategy for AT/AJ if I'm villain. Since if Hero fires again, I'll probably push both of those hands. So, against me, betting again is not good, but CRAI is very good.

with these stacks I'd fire again on the turn. I may check sometimes if villan was a donk who hates folding.


I agree w/ Big_Jim- too many players HU will call that flop w/ low pp's or any piece of the flop. I think most players would raise big hands/big draws on that flop the majority of the time. hence villan is going to check behind too often here IMO. then the river is going to blank and we get called by 55 or 7,8 if we try to bluff.

I'd rather take my free 14 outer if he gives it to me often, than try to run a big bluff out of position here. And Snipes, yeah, I'd push AT for value/range merging. Or I'd fold it if the guy was predictable enough. But none of you guys qualify for that.

crai sucks. if he folds he has air.

either c/c and play for your draw and/or to bluff spades when they fall. or keep firing, which imo is the best line. a lot of players will not jam draws over you because they feel they have no FE.

if I were villain I'd prob check both. If I bet AJ I would not doing so with the intention of foldiNg
AT is part of our bluffing range if we beg but I would almost always check behind

but if you're checking AT/AJ, then we should definitely be checking, because there's no way you're folding those if we bet. So by betting we're just getting money in as a dog. And those types of hands make up a large portion of his range, IMO.

This is obviously the clincher, and I can certainly see him playing a variety of draws this way, but a draw moves on the flop a lot of the time. While here, stacks are better to wait for the turn to make a move, I think a ton of people will just be like "oh boy a flush draw, I raise" on the flop, so at least we can count it as a little less likely, and he's unlikely to slowplay on this board, so I think he has a hand like Jx/Tx here a ton, and will often fold to pressure.

I also think that a c/r kind of stinks like a draw on this board.

While I don't think he's folding AJ here very often at all, I definitely think he can fold < AJ. Routinely felting AT here looks pretty bad, IMO.
