Re: [$33] 88 with 18 BB
Is the push okay or just spewing chips without tons of FE? Flat-Call to avoid a gamble?
I would love to hear some thoughts! |

You're pretty much bad all the time readless against the UTG raise. You're getting such good odds for a set you should just call.

I'd rather just call.

Re: [$33] 88 with 18 BB
Calling pf is certainly an option.
I don't hate the push with all the dead, but a read on UTG is crucial here. |

Sometimes you will be flipping, sometimes crushed. If you could guarantee that he hasn't just done a cute miniraise with a big pair... but you can't. It's the tool's favourite tool. |

Re: [$33] 88 with 18 BB
Being called in not a pb in itself with the overlay.
But it makes a difference in UTG min raising range is KK+ / AK or 55+, A9s, KQ. |

Re: [$33] 88 with 18 BB
Calling here is a good option as you are getting odds to draw to your set.
Pushing is also good if UTG is min-raising more then high Pocket pairs. |
