FWIW, I have also exported some recent hands from PT (NL cash games) and when I try and import I get the same problem as others: "Completed (0 imported, 0 duplicates, 0 errors).

The problem appears to be specific to my computer as I can't import any hand histories (I tried various types, exported and saved on my hard drive).

ok, lots of questions - I'll try to get them all answered here:

I get an error saying postgres needs to be installed on NTFS or something like that?

[/ QUOTE ]

Normally PostgreSQL needs to be installed on an NTFS but your probably have your hard drive setup as FAT32. I'll need a bit of time to figure out the work around - if anyone else knows then please jump in.

[/ QUOTE ]

Click Start -> Run -> type "cmd" (without the quotes) and hit Enter. Now the command window opens. Type "convert C: /fs:ntfs" and hit Enter. Wait while your drive is being converted to NTFS, and you're done.

I'm having similar problems. I imported about 100k hands from processed files folder with about 1000 error files, but when I tried to import the HH that's in my current FTP July HH folder, it imports with Complete: 0 0 0. I checked to see if they were already in but they aren't. Something wrong or am I just an idiot? Thanks.

Something definately wrong... I'm at work right now but when I get home tonight I'll be focusing completely on figuring out what this problem is.

thanks for you answer regarding the 100.0 3bet%.

i looked through your program and database and noticed that you "cut" partypoker HHs wrong: theres always the "Game #5609898428 starts." and "#Game No : 5609898428" lines at the end of a stored HH, but this stuff actually belongs to the next hand

another thing:
with party poker handhistories you might want to get rid of all ">You have options at Table XYZ.." lines before storing them in your DB!

i had to write my own program to do this on ptrackers existing databases.

The only thing I have noticed is that I can't find it in my Program list on the start menu (Vista Ultimate)

[/ QUOTE ]

You need to create a short cut for this.

I don't know your level of computer technical ability, so forgive me if I'm over explaining things.

Load up Windows Explorer

Navigate to the Holdem Manager Folder

Right-click and drag the program file to your start menu

[/ QUOTE ]

I fixed it, but it shouldn't take much to add this to the installer pack.

Not complaining, just pointing it out incase he wants to fix that.

Just to be 100% Safe, PokerStars is OK with this program and people using it?

I'm sure they will be fine, but that's a good point and rvg72 should probably run it by them, and get it on the "approved list" asap.

1) Make sure that you unzip the file before you try to install or you get a problem like this.

2) You will probably need to turn off "User Access Control (UAC)" in order for it to work. This only means that you won't be able to have multiple user logins on the computer.
