People. There are like 7 guys to the flop. The pot is 3500. You have 7500 left, a good overpair, a drawy board, and 3 streets left to play. POT CONTROL IS NOT AN ISSUE HERE. WTF. Just get it in...

someone told me to look at this hand. some questions:

1- how did it get so many responses?

2- where did OP get money to play in this game?

3- where did some of the people responding learn how to use a keyboard correctly?

I check behind on turn, river bricks off for a 2c. Villain tanks for a bit then fires 2k into pot. I call, he flips over JhJc. I scoop. With me checking behind on turn it allowed me to control the pot and have a worse hand value bet into me. SCOOOOOOOOOOOP

Wow this is clueless. How did you not get his stack? How did he get a look at 11 outs twice for a total cost of 1200?

Well the guy covered hero 5 times over, but we know what you are tying to say.

That's an interesting riddle. Did they agree to run it twice on the turn??? I'm trying to figure out how he could have gotten a look at 11 outs twice. Maybe you can explain?

Yeah, completely clueless.

People took the time to write up responses, and to explain their thinking. You didn't do this, and shouldn't be critizing anyone. Posts like yours are the REAL reason this forum has gone downhill.

you played this hand against a great player: tstonemdb.

mike is DEFINITELY not calling your push here. if you'be been playing tight, he's noticed. what have you shown down? what have you done? what could he have on you?

he will put you to the test if you make a scared bet.

you are very much in trouble if all your chips end up in the pot.

i'd go ahead and bet though. anything you bet will make you appear committed so he wont push w/ a worse hand enough.

so bet like 3k and fold to a push imo.

i may be wrong though so the decision to call the push if he does is yours ... either way though i dont think checking is a good idea nor do i think pushing here is smart, betting too small will telegraph your hand too much.

so bet about 1/2 your stack or pot which si the same basic thing.

GL, and tell mike to get back online
