AQs...how would you play it?

I'm going to preface a couple hands involving me and villain first before getting to the hand in question.

Villain is 2 spots to my right. In one hand I've seen him showdown 78s after making backdoor flush. He had min-raised it PF and was large chip leader at the table and this was also near bubble time.

So now bubble finally burst and I have maybe 10BBs. Villain raises UTG 3XBB and I have KQs. I decide to just go with it and hope I'm flipping. He calls and shows 55 and I double up after hitting a K.

I don't see any hands from him for a while as he seems to be tightening up a bit. He sees my AA from the SB after I reraise a guy (without going all in). He also sees my QT after I put another guy all in after a KTJ flop and the guy calls with AQ.

So now we get to the hand in question (I have about 20BBs). I'm on the button and everyone folds. Villian roughly doubles my chip count. He raises 3XBB. I feel this is not a steal but a raise with better than average cards. I have AQs and I pushed.

Based on all the information given, what do you think of this play?

I find myself doing things like this a lot (pushing all in when the raise is more than 10% of my stack and the raise came late pos) and was wondering if I should slow down more. Constructive criticism appreciated. And yes, I'm used to playing the turbo SNGs a lot which factor into my occasional all in fests.

Will tell result after a few comments.

So someone raises 3x from late position and you shove 20bbs with AQs.
