Well, so I found out this girl:

Plays Samara. Daveigh Chase... she's also in Big Love as a minor married to a 70 year-old Mormon.

I'm such a wuss. It's just a freaking movie.

This might help actually.

Clearly you must kill the real life embodimnt of your fears to be rid of this. Begin stalking her immediately. I'm pretty sure some prisons have internet access.

These things are linked to the devil and his demons. Ask Jesus into your heart- life and it will go.

Hmm. Try the perverted approach. Start masterbating to the visual of sodomizing her. Then she'll know who is boss.

[/ QUOTE ]

Is it just me or did anyone else think both these posts were equally funny?

[/ QUOTE ]

IF you laugh at the jesus one, you are going to hell.

OP, tell me you dont wanna do her real picture?

[/ QUOTE ]

And I'm sure if you laughed at the sodomizing statement you'll join me there!

Not to make light of this, but don't rent the one with sarah michelle geller in it. I mean, it was like 100x scarier than The Ring.

The Ring is the scariest movie I have ever seen in my life. By far. The movie gave me nightmares for weeks after I saw it. I understand what your going thru and its going to be very tough to get these memories out of your hand.

A couple thoughts:
1) I would defintely see a shrink about it.

2) Try to add humor to your thoughts. The best way to make scary movies unscary to just think how the monsters are so humorous and are just puppets.

grudge has better special effects but worse story

sorry for the hijack

fwiw, from the age of maybe 10 - 22 (I'm nearly 26 now) I had this retarded fear of aliens such that I'd literally run from the light switch to my bed, and jump under the covers.

Once I was under the covers, I'd chill for like 5 min then I was good and I could put my head above them, but

It's kinda scary to think how long I had that phobia for.

Unfortunately I have no idea what eventually cured that phobia, but there was a definite cooling period where I'd be sitting on my bed in the dark with force of will. I knew it was irrational so I'd be making jokes about it too, etc, but it took a LONG time to get rid of that.

FWIW I did the same thing to my sister by telling her about a man in her closet or something. I'm pretty much pure evil. I don't know if she still is afraid of that or not.

When I was a child I had this intense fear of monsters, like werewolves and vampires. I'd be lying in my bed, afraid that when I woke up my parents would be killed by the monsters. I never wanted to go to bed and I hated nights during this time. I loved the summer because it would be light for so long. It really dominated my life and I think I could've been diagnosed with depression if I had seen a psychiatrist. I think this was all before I was 10.

I never actually told this to anyone. I thought I was alone in this.

I'd suggest making losing this fear your main priority in life until you solve it, and seek professional help. That way you'll lose the fear in no time.
