Default Did I play this badly?

Did I play this hand badly because I got severely criticized for it? My Logic was to take a stand here. I was the short stack, and had 8 outs. Not to mention I was having a terrible run of cards. This was hand #46 and I had not even been dealt any Ace yet. So I get a decent hand and a promising flop and went with it. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Seats are out of order so I'm not sure about pf.

On the flop the pot is about 2100:700 so you only need to be good 25% of the time.

You will hit the straight 35%, but may lose to a flush.

Even if you take those 2 outs away you are still about 25%.

Call is fine.

Huh! The seats are out of order. Seat 4 was Button, Seat 5 SB, Me-Seat 6 BB. Pre-flop was no raises just calls. Thanks for reply.

Your stack totally justifies it, and you did good leading out on the flop.

The guy is just a standard micro whiner.

I think it's fine. You not only had the OESD, you also had a chance for a runner-runner flush as well. That counts as an extra 1-1.5 outs.

OK, since your bet on the flop made you pot committed it might have been better to go all-in directly instead of calling his raise.

BTW: Converting your hands make them a lot easier to read. Takes only a minute...

OESD = Open End Straight Draw

Here is a list with Acronyms & Abbreviations

There are many hand converter tools, just google for it.

If you play on the iPoker network I found this one helpful:

this is perfectly fine. When you have less than 10 big blinds you need to push at some point, and you had enough outs to justify it here.
