72o because it's the worst hand and it makes opponents really mad when you turn it over and win with it.

jopke? AJo should be autoraised from any position. OP, you shouldnt look at it this way. Instead of a specific "trash" hand you should be looking for situations in which you can raise a wide range profitably.

True, but having a couple trash hands will mix up your game naturally. Not that you can't mix up your game otherwise.

Perhaps. But when someone else has come in the hand, especially for a raise, your hand loses a lot of value. And if you're in one of the blinds you can pretty much cut your losses by folding. Give me T7s instead [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

QFT. And I don't like raising specific trash hand some specific percent of the time by some randomization schedule, I like thinking about mixing it up in terms of widening my range for that hand. In some cases/scenarios, my range might be 100% (blind steals against weak opponents for example).

I don't look down, see T9s in EP, and then say 'I'm going to raise this 25% of the time' and check my randomizer or whatever.
