I haven't been up that way in quite some time. If you could provide a trip report when you're done I would appreciate it. I did hear a while back that the room isn't open 24 hour a day, so you might want to call ahead to make sure. Good Luck

The poker room is open 24 hours a day now. I can confirm they have a 1/2 100 max game. I also will be there the last weekend in July, but don't know if I will be playing Poker or not.

It's hard for me to judge, chris, as I'm usually the lowest common denominator.

Layne?

They do spread 1/2 and offer but usually dont get 2/5 and 5/10; rates are 6,7 and 8 a 1/2 hour.=RAPE

Limit games up to 10/20.

All of the games are extremely soft. Lot of young kids like you. Most with scared money...Apply pressure and I also like to bet my draws there. The always beautiful reraise is very powerful there.

Back in the day this was a great room...not anymore.

Was this before or after the room was temporarily closed by the gaming commission?

I thought they shut the room down for more slot area...didn't know it was MGC.

I was referring to about 92-97 before I turned 21 and there was no poker in Detroit. We used to sneak in there with fake id's when we were 16 and 17. The pot limit game on Wednesday night was the place I made my first big poker score and I was only 17. 4 of us pooled some cash and I was the horse...ton of fun.

Sly, you MPT?
