TP in a blind battle
I don`t have the HH and because i played first time on UB i still have no read.
4 players fold, SB raises to 16, Hero calls with A7, Flop is rainbow: 267 SB bets 25, Hero raises to 80, Sb calls Turn is a T Pot is 192 SB checks and i go for Pot control anc check behind ( is this correct?) River is a 6 Sb leads for 154, Hero? |

Re: TP in a blind battle
pre-flop is somewhat rancid, and i can't imagine why you would raise this dry flop with TPTK versus an unknown. turn check is fine unless you want to turn your pretty reasonable holding into a bluff. fold river as played, the only realistic draw got there and most everything else is valuetown. if he's bad enough to have air in this spot you'll learn that pretty fast anyhow.

Re: TP in a blind battle
Fold, against an unknown here, you beat absolutely nothing, and with ur turn check u cant represent anything valuable enough to bluff him off of his over pair

Re: TP in a blind battle
Raising the flop kinda ruins the pot-control notion imo

Re: TP in a blind battle
I raised flop because any card is scaring for me on the turn and i wanted to gather some info.
I think river could be a fold, but i am not sure. Imo flop isn`t bad. |

Re: TP in a blind battle
Eeh, probably fold pre but if not raise. I think the flop raise is pretty bad actually. Turn check OK as played and fold river. Looks very very like TT+.

Re: TP in a blind battle
its sb v. bb isn't it?- depending on his raising range i see trips with that 6, he can raise there with a variety of hands especially suited connectors but i don't see what your tptk beats on that river-- why not put out a small/medium sized bet on turn and get more infomation on where you stand? i don't see how you read an overpair right there-- its an easy spot for a bluff with that turn check
