Default heads-up battle with a potentially dominated hand

I've returned to the game at about noon after playing the previous night. 4 players are still there. Full table 25/50.

Villian seems to be fairly tight PF but he's been playing for 16 hrs so who knows what kind of mental state he's in. He might be a 2+2er. He thinks I'm fairly tight but capable of making a move.

I raise KsQc in MP. He 3-bet's next in. Others fold. I call.
Flop As Kc 4s

I check, he bets, I raise, He thinks for sec and calls.

Turn Qh
I bet, he thinks less and calls.

River Jd
That can't be a good card, so I check.

Why can't the river be a good card for you? It might be a GREAT card! It makes a lot of two-pairs that you beat.

I dunno, I bet the river hoping to get a 3-bet in.

[edit:]

My way you have a decision to make if you get 4-bet, but check/calling can't be right. Were you going to c/r? That's prolly ok, since you can't lose more than 3.

It's 4-handed. Flop play is fine. Depending on opponent, might be fine anytime.

Raising the flop --> Worse hands fold, better hands raise. KJs is about the only worse hand that calls down.

Uh, sorry. I'll stop posting now. I have a very hard time reading typed out boards. Didn't see the 4 card str8. Like I said, I'll stop.

I don't get the flop c/r - what are you hoping he has and what are you hoping he'll do with it?

On the river it seems close between b/c and b/f, depending on just how bleary-eyed this guy is.

you guys are right. bad flop raise I should continue to let him bluff. raising doesn't accomplish anything except get him to fold hands that are behind.

anyway I check called the river and he had TT
