basically thanks to player suggestions Daniel was able to get these new games running very quickly.

if you value 50bb min buyin games online, e-mail support@pokerstars.com and bathe them in affection for their decision in the hopes that we can sway their team to let the 50bb "deepstack" games trickle down to all different stakes, in the hopes that one day in the future all online games at all stakes can work the same way.

To add the the OP:

the "deep" game on PS is 50min bb, 100max bb. completely diff from FullTilt (100min, 200max).

its basically re-wiriting the standard buyin construct for big-bet games. like normal, except forcing people to buyin for half the buyin. This is significantly different from the deep games at FullTilt, and has far more potential

PS: A few arguments for "deep" tables:

-The majority of 5/10+ players are "regulars," or people who play a fair amount of online poker
-The vast majority of 5/10+ players who buy in for 20bbs are ratholers
-Eliminating ratholing would make "regulars" very happy, and thus could bring a big surge of high stakes players to pokerstars
-Sites with a lot of high stakes action get a lot of attention from online poker enthusiasts
-Online poker enthusiasts choosing pokerstars to deposit instead of another site will inject zillions into pokerstars' poker economy

-I've noticed the action at 5/10+ is a lot better since you guys opened HU tables. This is evidence of the points I just made (making "regulars" happy ultimately results in better action)
