Re: I act like a jerk again
At Casino AZ, I have seen a few people leave when it was their kill pot, and no one complained...don't think it is enforced like that here.

Re: I act like a jerk again
[ QUOTE ]
This makes you sound like a complete [censored]. If I were you, I'd go apologize to the floorman and dealer next time I'm there and tip him the $10. [/ QUOTE ] "Next time" he is there? He wouldn't be allowed to play there again if I were the floor. You can't steal $10 off the table, leave, and come back a few days later like nothing happened. You say the rule isn't posted? Exactly where and how do you expect the poker room to post ALL of the rules covering EVERY game of poker? It's not a placard, it's a 100 page book. Whether this rule is in there or not, it IS completely standard. |

Re: I act like a jerk again
What did you expect to accomplish by being a jackass? What did you expect to accomplish by posting on twoplustwo a story about how big of a jackass you are?
Follow the rules or don't play. What the hell is your problem? |

Re: I act like a jerk again
Bernie,
I realize I was out of line but I still don't agree with the rule. Ask the muck floor and you will find that you can leave at anytime. Nobody can force you to post money that you don't want to post. |

Re: I act like a jerk again
After sleeping on it I've decided that I was very out of line and it's really stupid to enforce this rule.
If they are going to take $10 from the pot winner then the dealer should physically hold the money back before pushing the pot. |

Should have stopped reading after the title. Says it all.

The rule is there for many reasons stated by other posters. b |

[/ QUOTE ] So let's see, according to you after I bust on a hand I can play the next hand $200 behind, push all in and get called while the chiprunner is getting my chips and then when I lose I can just get up and walk off, since the dealer should have made me put the chips in the pot. "just try to take my chips from me" I'll say when the floor is called. You might not see this as the same thing, but they are. |

Re: I act like a jerk again
I recommend that you no longer play "kill" games, since you obviously do not understand the concept of it. Stick to regular no-limit.
If it was me, I would have had everyone at the table pitch in $1 to make up for your arrogence. I would have then taken the $10 and paid a homeless railbird to follow you out to the parking lot and proceed to kick the crap out of you. The money my railbird brought back would be split 50/50 between the other players and the next pot. |
