I forgot to pay a phone bill of approx. 400$ in Germany in year 2000, since I went to live in South America. The guy who rented me the apt. said that a mail arrived and I was requested to show up in court. I never showed up, since I haven`t been back to Germany. I will be traweling to Germany this month, anybody knows how German laws handles this? Similar I guess. I hope I don`t get arrested at the airport, before I`m able to solve this.

I'm from Germany and I just searched a little and couldn't find anything helpful, because you don't seem to need a Visum. But I guess that because you didn't pay there might be an arrest warrent waiting for you here.

But just post this question in GermanBBV or one of the german forums and people will help you for sure.

OP, nice trip report. I might have cried when I was alone with the DEA agent doing weird excercises.

However, I am more interested in your 10k+ swing at 2/4 over two days.
Can you give us a trip reporst about that?

Gave in and skimmed the story. No miranda rights read stuck out the most. If you got charged with anything it woulda been dropped based on that fact alone.

[/ QUOTE ]

Wrong. Miranda is only necessary if they plan to question you AND use that questioning against you.

[/ QUOTE ]

I am unfamiliar with this "plan" requirement you cite. To the contrary, information received by the police as a result of a custodial interrogation of a person who was not Mirandized would generally not be admissible (subject to a few exceptions). Are you certain that what the police planned to do is relevant to this inquiry?

Lots of this type of stuff...

Full Tilt Poker, $5/$10 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 4 Players
LeggoPoker Hand History Converter

BTN: $983
SB: $656
Hero (BB): $1,000
UTG: $1,153.70

Pre-Flop: 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (BB)
UTG raises to $35, BTN folds, SB calls $30, Hero calls $25

Flop: ($105) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 Players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG bets $60, SB calls $60, Hero raises to $280, UTG calls $220, SB calls $220

Turn: ($945) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $685 and is All-In, UTG calls $685, SB calls $341 and is All-In

River: ($2,656) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 Players - 1 is All-In)

Results: $2,656 Pot ($2 Rake)
SB showed 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (a pair of Aces) and LOST (-$656 NET)
Hero showed 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (three of a kind, Sevens) and WON $2,654 (+$1,654 NET)
UTG showed 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (Ace Ten high) and LOST (-$1,000 NET)

plus set over set for bi's a few times, hit quads three times and overpairs held up a lot after the money in, basically the opposite of a lot of bad beats playing four tables 2/4 throwing in some 3/6 and 5/10 and voila 10k.
