Imo theres actually less variance in NLO8 or PLO8 than in other forms of poker since with the pot often being split or quartered, you're not going to get stacked as much. Of course theres still variance though, which is what you're going through. Hard to quantify how often it happens to me though. If you're sure you're still playing well then i wouldn't worry too much about it.

LOL you know how that goes... yes playing well overall-long term, but the second half of those downswings usually involve some sort of spew, either with my stack or chunks of puke spurting from the fingers clasped over my horrified mouth.
