Couldnt get this to work with a converter,
tried
http://www.neildewhurst.com/hand-converter/
http://www.handconverter.com/hhconverter.cgi
but neither got it.

But I thought I would post it anyway as its such a great Omaha hand.
The play is fairly standard,
I think Plaza should just call the flop and Eisen should fold the reraise but thats their problem.

But the reason I think its so great is I have 32 outs on the turn,

Any diamond 9
Any Heart 9
Any A 2
Any K 2
any 8 2
Any 7 2
any 6 2
any 4 2
any 3 2

32 outs !!

even if you take away the 5 outs they have in their hands thats still 27 outs with 36 cards unseen.

a draw with 27 outs against 2 players,
can anyone beat that in a real hand played this month ?

I once flopped quads and had the rest of the deck as my outs.

We played a live hand yesterday where two people got it in for an ok sized pot on a

5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

flop

other one held 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]x with no redraw
other one held T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] for a nice 75% equity vs flopped nuts
turn was K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and we went bonkers thinking how many outs he had.

low content thread?

<font color="blue">Hi RoundTower - I'm going to post my reply here, rather than making a separate post that would move this to the front of the forum.

I don't mean this as a criticism of you at all. I appreciate your point of view. Here is mine:

The thread is here now. Once somebody starts a thread, I don't know of any way to move it into the low content thread. As far as I know, I can only delete a thread, lock it, or move it into another forum.

And in truth, I prefer this topic to have a separate thread. It does have some theoretical content in that it involves a consideration of outs. That may be elementary for someone with as much experience and expertise as you, but it might be right on the button for someone who is just starting to learn the game.

The other thing is separate threads gradually are pushed back by new threads. However, the low content thread keeps coming back and back and back, and finally takes up most of the first page almost every time we log onto this forum. Not a big deal, because we scroll down until the color changes before we start reading, but some of the stuff in the low content thread is interesting to us and the material in this thread would continually take up several inches of vertical space on our monitors. Taken for everyone who reads this forum, that's a big waste of scrolling time over a month. Much better if this thread simply moves on when people are finished with it.

That's just my opinion. Thus I don't mind a separate thread for this topic at all.

When I read your comment, it made me wonder if I should have done something about this thread, or if I should do something about this thread (or any other thread where I read that type of comment) - but in my judgment this thread simply doesn't merit any of the actions (that I know of) that are available to me.

Thanks, is there a trick I missed ?
when I tried it all the stack sizes were wrong.

btw its only 25 outs as 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] give button a house.

You only have 8 direct outs on the flop, 16 on the turn. Work it out.

And

There's a reason we have one of these.

That's one funny post, people always amaze me with their "outs" how can you have 32 cards in the deck that help you? even if in reality it's 25, but anyway the first thing that you need to do is to count the card who are left in the deck (which is 8 cards after the flop) because 44 cards are already dealt, so stop dreaming about your imaginary outs, because they are most likely dealt &amp; dead.

If you want to make money playing omaha, play 6 handed, never, but never a 9 or 10 handed game.

Um the thing is hero only knows 7 cards for sure on the flop. By putting an opponent on a range, hero may be able to add between 2 and 4 more "known" cards to his calculations. So, while only a few cards are left in the deck the cards left in the deck are wide in theoretical range. Or do you just fold all straight or flush draws since only 8 cards are left in the deck so hero never has pot odds?
