Default Advanced Note Taking Program

I'm looking for a more organized way of taking notes rather than relying on having to scroll up and down when using the default note taking system that pokersites have.

I'm looking for something where you can have multiple tabs like in Firefox when you hit control+T. Basically like notepad with that ability to have multiple tabs instead of having to open up more windows of notepad.

I don't if I'm doing a good job of describing it but is there anything like this out there currently?

Try a program called Memento. It's a free program. I use it for all types of things. I believe I found out about it through a thread here. You can resize the windows, keep them on top, and minimize to just a bar. Just play with it for a while.
