Default 1-2 live to 2-5

Just a general question regarding moving from 1-2 to 2-5 live games. I have been playin 1-2 NL for quite a while now, and I honestly don't think there are many good players (thus suckouts are imminent), or a.k.a "no fold'em hold'em" Is the 2-5 live games so much more different?? b/c even though I should be playin 1-2 with my BR, I feel like in 2-5 it's easier to protect your hand, and less pots that are more like 7 handed.

my experience of 2/5nl was a good one. The players are more aggro though. Take your shot, but I wouldn't be surprised if you come back crying that they are better than you had originally thought. gl man
