Default x-post: help me gain weight

I'm 6'1", ~150 lbs, 22 yrs old. I see a lot of people successfully lose weight on here, and I want some advice on doing the opposite. I'd like to gain ~25 lbs in 4 months. I dont wanna eat Big macs everyday though. I eat pretty healthy, work out regularly, and cant seem to gain a pound. I've tried whey, creotine...all that [censored]. Do I need to eat a ton of carbs? Anything besides pasta? I'm open to ideas.

You probably need to cut back on cardio and endurance exercises, lift heavy, and do either squats or deadlifts if not both. Also get more sleep and tone way down on the physical vices.

take whatever you eat and add around 1000 calories to it. protein and carbs. You will gain weight. You dont have to eat unhealthy to gain weight, just eat more. However, all of your gain wont be muscle.

Why the hell would you want to gain 25 pounds in four months?
Unless it's worth lots of dollars, don't do it.

You really want to stay close to 150 lbs for the rest of your life.

And keep adding 200 calories per day until you see your weight move.
I would add healthy FATS. They are calorie dense. I like to add peanut butter to protein shakes. If you like olive oil, add some on your food.

I used to work @ a nursing home, and we'd give the residents carnation drinks to help them keep their weight. Tomorrow I'm gonna get some and drink them w/ my meals, as well as eat more calories and carbs.

If you gain 25 lbs in four months, what's going to stop you from gaining another 25 lbs in the next four months. You're going to gain weight naturally as you get older.
