Default a river combo bet

villain seems v aggro preflop, 28/20 after 50 hands. no post flop reads. im around 24/20 but pretty standard post flop.

I don't raise JKo UTG pf, turn is good, river I'm probably betting 40, still big enough that you might size a bluff that big, but small enough that 77+ can look you up, but yeah a riv bet is mandatory here.

Oh, and it's not a freakin combo bet since he's never folding worse. It's just thinnish value.

lol, me neither, but he timed all the way down then kept chatting about folding 2 pair. figured he was on J9-KJ. made me wonder if the bet was bad...

Sometimes when you go for thin value on the river you valuetown yourself. It happens, doesn't mean your bet is bad. In fact, if that doesn't happen in your game, you're missing value.
