the off the field stuff is a major problem Playing quarterback in the NFL means you have to have self discipline and the respect of older guys. Vick is showing he is a little spoiled kid, i think even his brother has said it. For him to succeed in the NFL without even playing much college he will need to work real hard and not be a smart ass. He does not appear to be that kind of guy.

Also, a high pick is going to get a signing bonus. Clarett was a fool to turn down the bonus Denver offered him and ask for incentives. Vick won't make that mistake if he is drafted high. But anyway, teams are getting mroe careful about giving big money to petulant little kids. It really doesn't help the cause in the NFL to be paying TO or kellen Winslow or whomever is too disruptive or undisciplined to help the team. Yeah he has potential, yeah he has an upside, but he is a guy to get cheap. Plying in the NFL requires more than just athleticism.

In terms of talent, if Quincy Carter or Ronald Curry can get playing time in the NFL there is no doubt in my mind that Marcus Vick will play somewhere. Personally I think he would have been better off transfering to some Div I-AA school and behaving himself for a year, would probably get him drafted on day 1. As it is I figure he goes in round 4-5 unless he really wows people at the combine.

I'd imagine many teams won't even have them on their board after all his issues. He looks like a 2nd day pick by some team willing to give him a chance.
