yeah, michigan is soooooo predictable. OMG freshman QB run over jake long run over jake long pass on 3rd and 6 to manningham. Thank god PSU coaches suck.

Zone left, zone left, heave into coverage, punt. Yay, can't wait for tomorrow.

LSU is wonderfully loud. What a great place to catch a football game, especially at night (I'm a Big10er and can still admit this).

Didn't you get the memo? The Big East is the second best conference!!

Correct. South Florida is a damn good team. I don't get it. Louisville is a joke and I have always thought so. The SEC has 2 good teams, whoop de [censored]. They happen to be very good teams.

Two more very good teams than the Big East has.

So let me get this straight: it is your contention that the Big East is a better conference than the SEC?

EDIT: And the SEC only has two good teams? So South Carolina is not a GOOD team? Georgia? Kentucky? Alabama? Arkansas? Are none of these GOOD teams?

Do you know anything about college football?

There is no objective way to say what makes one better? If you have two amazing teams and the rest garbage (not saying the SEC teams are awful besides UF and LSU), is that a better conference than one that has 10 teams rated between 25-35? My ranking system may be different than yours. Although having great teams is important, its not the only factor I look at. If that logic was used, I might think the Big XII wasn't the 3rd crappiest conference.

EDIT: They are ok teams. I don't think any would have a shot at winning the Big East this year.

I think anyone who watched the game tonight from start to finish will admit that those two teams <<<<<<<<<<< USC, LSU, OK, and FL.

As must as the Big East tries, they are a 2nd tier conference.

Don't put FL on the same level as USC, LSU, or OK.

If you are just looking at teams on the elite level, I'm with you. The conference has a lot of depth this year with teams that are pretty good (but not elite). The team to watch out for out of the Big East this year is Cincinnati. They have a quality defense and an interesting gimmicky offense. We will see once they play some real opponents how good (or not good) they are. The three best conferences this year seem to be the Pac-10, SEC, and Big East, and an argument could be made for many ways depending on how you rate them about their order. Surely the Big East is better than the ACC, Big XII (unless you only count Oklahoma), or the Big 10.

It's probably obvious here, but the national media massively underrates the pac-10. I'm a Big-10 homer, but Oregon and Cal would sail through the Big 10...not to mention USC.

I'm an Ohio State homer, but unless Oregon and Cal have byes against Ohio State, they are not sailing anywhere. I doubt the spread would be more than 4 points either way on those potential games.
